The Motor State Street Rod Car Club was founded in 1976 as a social club to promote safe, family enjoyment
of modified vehicles.
The club is a non-profit benevolent organization established to promote the enjoyment of older vehicles
and protect the specialized interests of its members.
In addition, the club lives up to its motto of "Fun with Cars, Family and Friends" with less structured
activities that may include casual cruising, picnics, dances, dinners, swap meets, car shows, rod runs, cruise-ins, and monthly
meetings. Funds raised every year are donated to various needy causes.
Member participation is expected at these events as It is their effort that will keep this club alive.
Basic requirements of membership include:
- Ownership of, or interest in owning a vehicle meeting the club requirements
- Attendance of at least 50% of the regular club meetings.
- Assistance during at least one club sponsored event per year.
- Payment of annual dues by the end of January each year.
